Project on Legal and Organizational Capacity Building for Russian NGOs
The McCain Institute equipped Russian NGOs with tools necessary to succeed and defend their constitutional rights. Standing true to its commitment to protect the vulnerable and advance democracy, the McCain Institute partnered with Latvia-based Russian NGO Astraea to launch four interlinked training programs for Russian NGOs in Europe, Russia, and North America last year. Bewareofthem Help
The Bewareofthem Help project is a charitable initiative that aims to support Russian civil society and to provide assistance to individuals who have found themselves in difficult life situations due to the expression of their civic position. The project works to publish information about these individuals and to raise awareness about the challenges they face. Additionally, the project raises funds to provide financial support to victims of repression and to help them rebuild their lives. The Bewareofthem Help project is committed to standing with individuals who have been targeted for their beliefs and to providing them with the support and resources they need to overcome adversity.
Politota
Politota is a media project that aims to provide news, political analysis, and commentary on socially significant topics to diverse audiences in Russian-speaking countries. The project is focused on building a community of politically active and engaged youth, and seeks to inspire and empower young people to take an active role in shaping the future of their societies. Politota publishes a range of content, including news articles, political analysis, and author opinions on a wide range of topics, as well as political humor and satire. The project also provides a platform for young writers and journalists to share their perspectives and to engage with the community. Through its content and community-building efforts, Politota seeks to promote political literacy and engagement among young people in Russian-speaking countries.
